A recent viral video of two Fried Pepper staff members violating
restaurant health codes has come to our attention.
On behalf of Fried Pepper, I want to express my deepest apology for the poor
customer service these two staff members has displayed. I have built this
restaurant franchise with pride and passion. My mission is to always exceed the
expectations of my customers through our food, service and staff.
Unfortunately, the negligence of two staff members has tarnished this promise.
I want to ensure and emphasize to my customers that this was an isolated
incident. As soon as we were notified of this video and noticed several Twitter mentions regarding this incident,
we immediately investigated the situation and managed to determine the
restaurant location that had these two staff members employed. These two
individual are no longer employed a Fried Pepper and rigorous staff training
has been implemented in the restaurant through the management team. All of our
various locations will be notified of this incident and also have proper employee
training delivered in their restaurants. We have also taken careful measures to
ensure the restaurant was immediately closed down for full sensitization. To ensure
that location is back to appropriate health codes, a public health inspector
will be conducting a full examination. In order to prevent any future incidents,
we will be installing security cameras inside all kitchens of our restaurants
and also conducting surprise inspection visits. As mentioned, I take huge pride
in the success of Fried Pepper. That success is not achievable without the
satisfaction and trust of our customers. I am confident an incident like this
will not happen again. For further information, please direct your inquiries to
me personally. Our communications staff will put their best efforts in
answering all the questions addressed to our Twitter account @FriedPepper.
We continue to appreciate and value you choosing us!
